Brooklyn Spots Where Lil Kim and Faith Evans Could Bury the Hatchet

compiled by Gerren Keith Gaynor
It's no secret that Lil' Kim and Faith Evans aren't exactly the best of friends. As the old tale goes, one was the Notorious B.I.G.'s wife, the other his mistress. After years of personal beef, documented in Faith's memoir and the Biggie biopic, "Notorious," it's safe to say the former Bad Boy label mates will never kiss and make up--unless of course we have something to do about it. With Brooklyn being Big's hometown, VIBE thought it would serve the two ladies well if they dropped the boxing gloves and spread love--it's the Brooklyn way. We're sure Biggie would have wanted it that way. Here's some Brooklyn spots where the once First Lady of Bad Boy and Queen B could go to bury the hatchet.

Peaches

Peaches is one of Brooklyn’s most popular soul food restaurants, and it’s right in the middle of Kim’s (and Biggie’s) old stomping ground, Bed-Stuy. The restaurant’s cozy atmosphere would make for a great opportunity for the two ladies to let go of their old baggage and enjoy a good old southern-style meal. Maybe they’ll even reminiscence on Biggie’s glory days in the neighborhood he loved so much.
Editorial Review
The tamer, older sister to hip Peaches HotHouse, Peaches caters to families and older Bed-Stuy residents with its Southern hospitality, standout brunch, and pretty solid Southern dishes. Though some argue HotHouse is better, the rich and creamy shrimp and grits and short rib hash generally wins everyone over. Unless you have a heart of steel and no tastebuds.
