Celebrity Eyewear Designer Stevie Boi's Top Trendy Restaurants

compiled by Gerren Keith Gaynor
If you’ve never heard of Stevie Boi, you’ve most certainly seen his work. His dramatic and innovative eyewear has been worn by some of music’s most eclectic, stylish artists from Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaj to Katy Perry and Rihanna. His eyewear is in such high demand that Minaj once bought out his entire collection in a London boutique. One look at him and it’s apparent he’s galaxies away from today’s fashion trends, and his eyewear line, SB Shades, is a clear indication. In 2007, Stevie Boi got his break when his fabricated eyewear design caught the attention of pop star, Lady Gaga, who has since used his creations as her signature style. More recently, Gaga called on him to work on the visuals for her upcoming album. Now, Stevie is a respected fashion designer and connoisseur. He’s been featured in Vogue Japan, and has even become good friends with its editor, Anna Dello Russo. Stevie Boi, who will be designing a headpiece for the RoboCop film remake, chatted with VIBE and shared his top trendy restaurants in New York, LA and his residing hometown, Baltimore.

BALTIMORE - "You can’t come to Baltimore without coming here. It’s a five-story loft. There are no elevators. I don't know how people work here (laughs). At night they have a DJ playing while you’re dining. I know it sounds ratchet, but it’s nice and upscale. They have the best sushi. My favorite is the Volcano roll with some type of deep fried fish. It’s extremely spicy and good. I always take celebrities here like Lola Monroe and Trina."

Mega restaurant offers pretty much every experience your little heart could desire. Amazing sushi, fancy beers, cocktails to die for, music, funky artwork on the walls. Good for groups, so consider dragging your work crew here. They'll think you're a cool cat.
