Featured Hotspots in "Love and Hip Hop" Episode 3
"Love and Hip Hop" is all the craze, and it seems audiences can't get enough of it. Drink throwing, shouting matches, and Twitter quotes for days, the cast of the reality show serves up ratchetness that's perfect for television (or not, depending on your vice). Episode 3 of Love and Hip Hop shed the spotlight on not only the cast, but some of New York's most popular hotspots from a luxury men's salon in Harlem to a Spanish cuisine favorite in Washington Heights. In case you missed it or just want to reenact a scene, VIBE guides you to the spots where all the drama went down.

Mamajuana Cafe
Erica Mena and Lore'l met up at Mamajuana Cafe in Washington Heights to rehash their nearly physical altercation outside of a nightclub. If the intent was to kiss and make up, they failed miserably, leading to yet another shouting match, Erica telling Lore'l that her lifeline was "dead," and Lore'l walking out before they could even order from the menu. Bummer.
Editorial Review
Uptown cafe and wine bar that fuses Taino Indian customs with old world spanish elegance. If Harlem is the new Brooklyn, Washington Heights is the new Harlem, and Mamajuana Cafe could not be a better representation. Vibrant and beautiful people, with complimenting decor (Spanish architecture, artifacts, plush sofas). Traditional brick oven dishes like thin-crust Spanish pizza, Serrano ham, and sweet plantains. Here, it's not just about the food, it's about the culture.
