Melanie Fiona's Must-Go-To Toronto Spots
One thing is for sure: Melanie Fiona's got soul. The Canadian singer-songwriter has earned her space in the R&B realm, and with great reason. Her sophomore album, "The MF Life" (which was listed as one of VIBE's most slept-on albums of 2012), masterfully showcases her bluesy influences and powerhouse chops--and it doesn't hurt that she's drop-dead gorgeous. Fiona has a lot to celebrate these days, too. Her single, "Wrong Side of a Love Song" was nominated for a Grammy this year for Best Traditional R&B Performance, not to mention she already has two of the golden bad boys under her belt. Fiona recently chatted it up with VIBE and guided us to her favorite must-go-to spots. See where she likes to shop, eat, and vibe out when she's in her hometown Toronto.

Holt Renfrew
"For shopping in Toronto you have to go to Holt Renfrew on Bloor Street. It’s the Canadian version of Bergdorf, Saks, or Niemen Marcus."
Editorial Review
The Saks Fifth Avenue of Canada. If you're ever feeling homesick in Canada and need a little Saks or Bloomingdale's in your life, Holt Renfrew is your home away from home. It has all the high-end fashion your heart desires and then some. Modern, but sleek. Fashionable, but mature. Just make sure you don't come to window shop and are prepared to drop some major coin. Fashion comes with a hefty price tag.
