Obama Stalking: Spots in DC to Catch the President During Inauguration

compiled by Gerren Keith Gaynor
Politics aside, President Obama is probably the coolest dude on the planet. So much so that not even the biggest of haters could knock his swagger. Whether you voted for him or that other guy, there's no denying the president's rock star status. If you're one of the millions of Obama stalkers rushing to DC for inauguration hoping to get a taste of the Obama fever then, well, take a number. Luckily for you, VIBE did half the work by compiling some spots where the president is known to drop in from time to time. Just play nice with secret service, and your wish just may be granted.

Good Stuff Eatery

President Obama loves Good Stuff Eatery so much that he brought his staff there during a busy lunch hour. Being the boss that he is, he footed the bill for not only his staff but a woman who stood next to him on line. But just in case you’re not so lucky in running into the leader of the free world, you can at least try Good Stuff’s Obama Burger, which was especially crafted in collaboration with one of the president’s personal chefs.
Editorial Review
Searching for a pulse on the body of American cuisine, Washington foodie culture comes full circle and gives us . . . hamburgers. But wait, this time they're different! So says owner and fedora-enthusiast Chef Spike of Top Chef fame. Locator adjectives bring global flavors to American beef, french fries fried twice, obviously. Milkshakes are creative and lustful, worth the long wait behind hill staffers and adoring TV fans. Way casual is the new too cool.
