Music producer and songwriter Sean Garrett is at the top of his game. Having produced and written chart-smashing hits for the likes of Beyonce, Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, and Usher, Garrett easily leads the pack among music’s most notable songwriters and producers--and he has 17 number-one singles under his belt to prove it. More recently, Garrett worked with Brandy, having produced and written a majority of her critically-acclaimed, comeback album, Two Eleven. Her first single, Put It Down, also written and produced by the Atlanta-born musician, earned Brandy her first Billboard top ten single in a decade. In fact, Garrett tells VIBE that Brandy’s third single will be another one of his assisted tracks called Let Me Go—a sure-to-be club banger. Though the hit-maker admits he doesn’t go out much, because he’s always in the studio cooking up the latest sounds, he did reveal a few spots where he likes to lay low and chill.
