Spots Where Destiny's Child Could Reunite Like Old Times

compiled by Sandra E. Garcia
For eight long years, Destiny's Child diehards have been awaiting the musical return of the bootylicious trio. Thankfully they don't have to wait much longer. DC3 is back with a new single, “Nuclear,” which is the lead track to their compilation album, “Love Songs.” The group is also rumored to reunite during Beyoncé’s Super Bowl half-time show on Feb 3. With each lady working hard on their solo endeavors, they probably have a lot of catching up to do. With Beyoncé preparing to release her fifth studio album, Kelly Rowland set to release “Year of the Woman,” and Michelle Williams working on her third inspirational album, the three gal pals are rarely in the same city and seldom have time to hang like they did during their Destiny’s Child glory days. In honor of their reunion, VIBE compiled an itinerary of go-to spots where they could catch up like old times in Bey's new hometown New York.

The Spotted Pig

Since Bey knows the city more than Kelly and Michelle, she could introduce them to The Spotted Pig in the West Village, where she and Jay-Z once attended with a large entourage. Because it gets pretty crowded, the sisters in music could blend in and revel in being young and inconspicuous.
Editorial Review
Ye Olde new English pub is a cute and crowded corner spot, still smoldering even after all these months. Old world atmo littered with bric-a-brac to charm your date, or buy that lass at the bar a duck egg if you're scoping the singles scene. Lovely fish mains, but that artery-clogging burger is darn delicious, served with shoestring potatoes that are more like crunchy dental floss. Now with two floors to better serve your pub grub cravings.
